Pat got free tickets to Six Flags, which is in downtown Denver. Parking was $15, and being the cheap skates that we are didn't want to pay that much. Partly because we didn't have that much cash on us. We were only going because we had free tickets, and there isn't much an 18 month kid can do there anyhow. We spent an hour trying to find cheaper parking. I am sure we spend a pretty penny just on gas. We finally decided we were going to go to REI and exchange some cash for quarters so we could use the meters. When we got back to the meters all the spots were taken, FINE. So we drive around some more and find a dog park (in the middle of downtown you say? yes.) We park at the dog park and walk to Six Flags. Once we were inside we had fun, but we didn't stay for very long because there wasn't a whole lot that Paul could do being so late in the season; not everything was open. I think Six Flags also caters to an older crowd. We'll have to get a babysitter next time. :)
