Love them! And sooo frustrating! We just tried to refi our house because rates were so great, but because our subdivision is so small (50 houses) and all 8 of the last 8 sales have been auctions or foreclosures, our house appraised for $150,000 less than our last appraisal. I guess, because we tried to do everything the right way (we saved money for a down payment and have never been late or missed a payment), we get screwed. Wow, sorry about that rant. This stuff is just driving me CRAZY!
Those are too funny! We don't qualify for an FHA loan because our house costs too much, which is unfortunate because most of the houses cost too much here and we really don't have a choice now that the cheaper houses are all gone!! *sigh* Trying to find the right mortgage company has been a hassle, but everything seems to be working out well and feel blessed to be where we are! I really don't know how we got so lucky (seems that the mold problem was actually a blessing in disguise!)
